Anubhav or anubhavah, in Sanskrit, refers to personal knowledge or aesthetic experience while Yoga is the neutralization of ego-directed feelings. With this Yog Anubhav (7 Days) program, discover your own unique strength, resolve your inner conflict and find your inner yogi. This program aims to be the ideal getaway from your hectic life, imbibing positiveness in your thoughts and feelings. Our practical Asana and Pranayama classes are based on scriptural references and methods as mentioned in Ancient Hatha Yog and Patanjali Yog Sutra texts. Govardhan School of Yoga adapted and streamlined the entire practice which directly influence our ‘Koshas’ or ‘Sheaths’ in order to attain the complete knowledge and awareness of true self.

The Govardhan School of Yoga is also a part of an ancient traditional lineage and presents the pristine teachings of Yoga based on ancient scriptures like Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam. The holistic approach of these scriptures is evident in Govardhan School of Yoga, where yoga is seen not just on the mat but also off the mat!     Below schedule is designed as per the guidelines based on ‘Dinacharya’ (daily routine) as mentioned in Ayurveda. Integrating the daily routines of Dinacharya is an important step in cultivating discipline. Following Dinacharya is one of the best means to align with nature.

  • 12.30 hrs - RELAXATION THERAPY (YOG NIDRA) & HERBAL TEA
  • 13:00 hrs - THEORY CLASS
  • 14:00 hrs - FREE TIME/SELF STUDY
  • 15:30 / 16:00 hrs - HATHA YOGA- ASANA & PRANAYAMA CLASS

  • 18:15 hrs - YAMUNA AARTI AT VRINDAVAN FOREST / GO-SEVA/ NATURE WALK

  • Attendance & full participation in daily scheduled classes for the entire course & satsangs daily are mandatory. If for any reason you must be absent from any part of the daily schedule, a written notice must be submitted to the teacher.

Spending almost a month of my life at Govardhan School of Yoga in Govardhan Ecovillage learning yoga was one of the best phases of my life. I got to know about them through their website and their association with Iskcon was one of the key factors of me enrolling into the Yoga Teacher’s Training Certification course. Though a naïve to Yoga, I didn’t feel like such after starting with the course here. Such was my comfort level with the yoga teachers there. All the sessions in the course were quite good and I gelled very well with all the other participants making the time spent well worth. Everything right from the food, facilities and ambience were very well organized and gave an impression of a professional set up amidst the nature’s tranquility. A must place to visit if you love yoga and intend to learn and teach it in your lifetime.

The first acquaintance that I had with Govardhan School of Yoga was through its website that led me to opt for the 28 days YTTC program at Govardhan Ecovillage. The experience that I had in the YTTC program was simply awesome. My experience of Yoga Teacher’s Training Certification course at Govardhan School of Yoga was nothing short of amazing. A great learning experience with wonderful and easily approachable yoga teachers, one of the best places – Govardhan Ecovillage; nestled amidst nature’s serenity; to learn yoga, and the best facilities that led into an amazing experience of 28 days of learning YTTC. Govardhan School of Yoga was referred by one of my friends who had been here before. Today, I feel extremely happy that I did listen to my friend and got enrolled myself in to this life changing course.
