Our rainwater harvesting ponds serve a dual purpose of ground water recharge and water storage. By capturing and storing rainwater, we ensure a sustainable and reliable water supply while replenishing the local aquifers
of rainwater stored & harvested for Biodiversity Conservation & other requirements.
GEV is currently water positive (it stores more water than it consumes). Water is stored across 3 Ponds, 5 Wells and 3 Borewells at GEV. The ponds are primarily used for agriculture and for landscaping purposes, while borewells currently address all GEV’s water needs.
