Water Conservation

Our rainwater harvesting ponds serve a dual purpose of ground water recharge and water storage. By capturing and storing rainwater, we ensure a sustainable and reliable water supply while replenishing the local aquifers

Water Positive Community

GEV is currently water positive (it stores more water than it consumes). Water is stored across 3 Ponds, 5 Wells and 3 Borewells at GEV. The ponds are primarily used for agriculture and for landscaping purposes, while borewells currently address all GEV’s water needs.

Waste Water Treatment by Soil Bio-Technology Plant

200 KLD Capacity Sewage Plant to treat and convert sewage water into usable agriculture water, utilizing IIT Mumbai-patented technology.

Increase in Vegetation Cover

GEV’s water and soil conservation initiatives contribute to a increase in 30% vegetation cover, fostering the growth of diverse plant species.
