Internship Opportunity

Our internship opportunities are open to students and working professionals from various fields of expertise who resonate with our spiritual and environmentally conscious ethos. Within our Sustainability department, we offer internships in eight aspects that encompass the holistic vision of sustainability:

In addition to these areas, internships are available in research and development, educational content creation, small-scale model development, data collection and analysis, content writing, outreach and publicity, creative video production, and more. We also welcome your unique ideas and inputs for specific projects and initiatives.

When you choose to join us at Govardhan Eco Village, you will be provided with accommodation at our serene campus nestled amidst the awe-inspiring Sahyadri Mountains. We also offer the flexibility to work remotely, catering to your preferences and circumstances.

Eligibility

Academic background: Undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate students with a passion for sustainable development, environmental conservation, spiritual ecology, community forestry, agronomy, ecology, biology, environmental education, rural development, conservation, ecological economics, environmental sociology, or related subjects are encouraged to apply.

Any candidate who genuinely wants to be part of sustainability and is interested in contributing is welcome here is eligible to apply. However, preference will be given to subject experts and curious, hardworking/smart-working candidates. The final decision will be taken by the Sustainability core team

Skills and experience

We seek individuals who embody a spirit of flexibility and dedication. Desired skills include good organizational communication, and computer skills, as well as field experience relevant to your academic pursuits. We value independent thinking and a proactive approach to work.

Language requirements:
Proficiency in spoken, written, and reading English is essential.

Should a report of the project during my internship to you?

Yes, students are expected to submit a final report of their work with data, and photographs.

Does GEV provide accommodation for Interns?

Yes, it is available. Accommodation is chargeable as per the organisation’s norms.
