ISKCON and GEV support UNEP’s The Tide Turner’s Plastic Challenge

Inviting Youth Leaders for action towards Global youth movement- The Tide Turners Plastic Challenge

ISKCON & Govardhan Ecovillage urges youth (11 to 35 yrs of age) to register for Tide Turners challenge. The education program is systematically designed for the purpose of guiding youth through stages of knowledge, action and leadership.

  • Knowledge- Your action starts with the step of registration. Tide turner challenge can be accessed then through systematically designed dashboard. Young leader will be able to access a comprehensive guide on the global situation of plastic pollution – Tide Turner Challenge Toolkit.
  • Action- The first level in action starts with a movie, followed by plastic consumption audit. The young leader shall earn first badge by adopting sustainable habits. Level 2 in action involves a plastic audit and improvement in waste management at home. This will earn the leader the second badge.
  • Leadership- Inspired young leaders influence friends, relatives and community towards sustainable consumption and curb plastic waste. Youth will be recognized with champions badge and will earn the leader a certificate of UNEP recognizing the change effected during the program.
